What is EMERGE?
EMERGE is a two-week artist open studio at Loft Marvila, Lisbon.
It's a space for YOU - emerging and independent artists and those curious about creativity. A place to make new work and build creative community.
During the week, Loft Marvila transforms into your personal creative studio Mondays-Fridays from 10-18h (Fridays we have late night studio sessions until 21h).
Over the weekends we have a series of workshops, and events for you to explore new forms of creative expression.
There's more than one way to participate
Rent a table
Work at a shared table alongside other artists in the main creative zone.
A relaxed, sociable way to create new work.
Best for artists who work small-scale on paper, in a sketchbook, crafting, collage, or digitally on a laptop/ iPad etc.
Rent a shared alcove
For big work that won't fit on a table.
Alcove tickets give you your own ~4.3 m² space to use every day from 10-21 August, including the weekends.
Includes 1 electricity socket per person, and 1 shared table.
Drop in for a day
No commitment, just show up!
Day tickets are available at the door for €3.50.
Open to artists, spectators, and friends alike.
You can meet artists at work, hang out in our exclusive COLLECTIVE works alcove and enjoy the bar.

Workshops and events:
Join us over the weekend for a line up of workshops and events where you can explore a new art form and learn new skills.
Our evening programming includes music, dancing and art with a final exhibition opening on August 22nd
